Huge, cartoonish, and decidedly unfeminine, creepers have traditionally been a "niche" item for high school goths and psychobillies. Despite the fact "high school goth" is pretty much the antithesis of my style, I find myself warming up to them: the bulky shape anchors a girly outfit in a far more unusual manner than the traditional platform shoe. Who knows? I may try them out when I'm in London.....
